Prior to getting into commercial real estate Ben worked in market research, marketing (both domestic and global) and business development within the life sciences with a focus on strategic and operational planning. While relatively new to commercial real estate, Ben is particularly skilled in talking strategy and needs with his clients to get them what they need and when they require it. Whether that be a lease for expansion or selling their commercial asset to perform a 1031 exchange into a better performing asset, Ben’s ability to identify what clients want and their motivations is unmatched. While providing a focus on retail properties for Lancarte since joining the team Ben also works within other asset classes (i.e. industrial/flex, land, or office) and is only limited by what his client’s needs are at the time. Coming from a prior management consulting background, Ben is skilled at bringing value to his clients endeavors and is a believer in fewer, larger clients to help continue to elevate his game.
Ben graduated with his BBA from University of Wisconsin- Madison in Finance and his MBA from University of MN, Carlson School of Business in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
