Darren Cain joined LanCarte Commercial in 2019 following a twelve-year career in land development and municipal planning.  He brings a distinctive perspective, leveraging his experience as a former developer and planner to provide multiple levels of service for his clients.

Prior to joining LanCarte Commercial he was a Development Partner with Realty Capital Management, assisting in the development of mixed-use, multifamily, and retail projects throughout Texas. He started his career as a senior planner with the City of Austin, Texas residential division, where he assisted in establishing the pilot program for their smart-growth and sustainability initiative.

Darren received a B.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston and a M.A. in Planning and Land Development from Texas State University.
